HRH Crown Prince receives newly-appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh

Manama, Oct. 21. (BNA) — His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received His Excellency Mr. Mominur Rahman, the newly appointed Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.


During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted Bahrain’s keen interest to further enhance bilateral relations with Bangladesh, which he said are underpinned by the long-established commercial and cultural links between the Kingdom of Bahrain and South Asia.

His Royal Highness went on to extend his best wishes to Ambassador Rahman as he undertakes his new role in the Kingdom and expressed his hope that the two countries could further strengthen coordination to better serve shared interests between the two nations.

For his part, Ambassador Rahman expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness, highlighting his support to further develop relations between Bahrain and Bangladesh. Ambassador Rahman went on to affirm his commitment to bolster ties between the two countries throughout his time in the Kingdom.

The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
