Manama: Nov. 20 — (BNA) Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr. Hassan Abdullah Fakhro, praised the key and effective role of Bahraini and Arab businesswomen in boosting economic development in Arab countries citing their manifest participation in increasing women’s contribution in decision-making in these countries.

These remarks were made by the Minister as he received the Middle East and North Africa Businesswomen’s Network (MENAB)chairwoman, Mrs. Afnan Al-Zayani.

The MENAB’s headquarters are located in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Mrs. Al-Zayani presented to the Minister the members of the organization’s board of director who are currently visiting in the Kingdom of Bahrain to partake in the MENAB General Assembly meeting.

The Minister emphasized the Ministry’s keenness and readiness to provide all required facilitation, potential and support these organizations and initiatives which aim to develop human resources as a basis for development, progress and advancement.

On the other hand, the MENAB chairwomen, Mrs. Afnan Al-Zayni, and the visiting members of the organization expressed their utmost gratitude and appreciation for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support to the initiatives of Arab businesswomen and for opening vaster horizons for them to effectively contribute in building the community and to achieve the aspirations which contribute into the best interest of the public.
