Kuwaiti MP sued for making hostile statements against Bahrain

Kuwait, Sep 28(BNA)A Kuwaiti National Assembly MP is being sued for making hostile statements against the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Kuwait Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khalid Al-Jarallah announced the move tonight as he attended a ceremony hosted by the Chinese Embassy marking the annual establishment of the People’s Republic of China.

In a statement posted on Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), he deplored the hostile statements, adding that “any affront to Bahrain is also an affront to Kuwait”.

“We have received a memo of protest from Bahrain authorities which prompted us to take the necessary legal action”, he said.
