MANAMA: Bahrain’s construction industry could be poised for a turnaround – given big attendances at three key expos this week. gulfBID, gulfInteriors and Gulf Property Show, three of the biggest regional platforms in the construction, contracting and building materials sectors, this year have seen key deals struck, a range of new products unveiled and big ticket purchases made.
Widely known as 3G, the three-day events, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre (BIECC), concluded yesterday with more than 7,000 visitors getting a look and feel of market-leading products and services showcased by an outstanding line-up of exhibitors.
“Bookings have already begun for the 2015 editions, with the Gulf Property Show destined for further expansion,” organiser Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said.
“We expect over 50 per cent of all our exhibitors to book early for next year’s shows,” he said.
Next year’s gulfBID, gulfInteriors and Gulf Property Show will be held from May 12 to 14 at the BIECC.
