Moroccan Embassy marks Accession Day

Manama, July 31(BNA): Morocco celebrated the Day of the Throne and the 16th anniversary of King Mohammed VI. Moroccan Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Ahmed Rashid Khatabi yesterday hosted a reception ceremony on this occasion at the Gulf Hotel.


The ceremony was attended by His Majesty the King’s Advisor for Information Affairs Nabeel bin Yacoub Al-Hamer, Royal Court Envoy Sameera bint Ibrahim bin Rajab, Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, Youth and Sport Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowder, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Abdulla Abdullatif Abdulla, members of the diplomatic corps, officials and businessmen.

In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Al-Khatabi hailed strong bilateral relations bonding Bahrain and Morocco, lauding the strong foundations laid by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and His Majesty King Mohammed VI. He underlined steadily-growing cooperation in all fields, hailing the care and facilities being provided to the Moroccan expatriate community in Bahrain, which reflects deep-rooted historic relations.
