Manama, July 18 (BNA) Health Minister Sadaq bin Abdul Karim Al Shehabi and members of the Health Ministry High Committee met on July 16 Dr. Faisal Al Nasser, the Head of the High Organising Committee of Bahrain Health Insurance Forum and Exhibition, to discuss the ministry’s participation in the event which will be organised in December under the patronage of State Minister for Defence Affairs and President of the Supreme Health Council Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.

The function will witness large-scale participation from the World Health Organisation, insurance companies in Bahrain, hospitals, private clinics and other relevant parties.

The forum aims to promote comprehensive awareness of the National Health Insurance Project and avail of international experiences in applying similar schemes. It will also spotlight the efforts of Bahrain leadership and government in optimising health services and promoting partnership between the public and private sectors to ensure success of the health insurance project.
