National Level 1 course for coaches ends

A LEVEL 1 Course in the National Coaching Programme concluded recently with 40 men and women coaches from different sports clubs and associations in the fray.

The course was organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s (BOC) Sports Training and Development Section at its premises in Juffair.

Sponsored by McDonalds and Chevron Bahrain, the course is part of the section’s plan in an attempt to qualify national coaches and develop their skills in a variety of sports.

Sessions were conducted by Mahmood Yateem, Ali Al Anzoor, Ahmed Ali and Mohsin Al Ghanem, while a team of specialists supervised the course. They were Saeed Al Aradi and Ali Qamber.

The section, meanwhile, will be organising a Level 4 course with 30 men’s and women’s coaches expected to take part. This event will be supervised by Ali Qamber and Ali Hussain and sponsored by Arabian Gulf Raffle.
