Officials at the launch of the comprehensive travel guide.

Doha: Gulf Air, the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national carrier, has recently collaborated with Arab World Tours, a Bahraini travel agency committed to promoting the Kingdom globally, and sponsored a special edition of 101 Things to See and Do in Bahrain — a comprehensive travel guide consisting of over a hundred activities, suggested itineraries and places to visit in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Commenting on thecollaboration, Mohammed Amin Hulaiwah, Gulf Air Director, Corporate Affairs and Communications, said: “As a proud national carrier and the Kingdom’s global ambassador, we are committed to promoting Bahrain to the world.By sponsoring this book we have taken a huge step towards this goal. The book is a gem of information and it is useful to both tourists and locals, first time visitors as well as recurring travellers to Bahrain, to discover all that our Kingdom has to offer. We plan to promote this travel guide and distribute it via our international offices and representatives to encourage inbound tourism and to educate potential visitors about Bahrain and its tourism and hospitality assets.”

Ali Mushaima from Arab World Tours said: “This travel guide, which is the result of the consolidated efforts of a team of local and international writers, photographers and researchers, highlights all the places of interest in Bahrain that tourists and new residents can discover. Museums, forts, historic buildings, beaches, markets and many more sights and activities are included in this comprehensive guide. I thank Gulf Air for their contribution and sponsorship of 101 Things to See and Do in Bahrain – helping to promote the Kingdom globally.” The Peninsula
