Peaceful co-existence, tolerance in Bahrain stressed

Manama, Jan 25 (BNA): Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Farid bin Yacoub Al-Miftah stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a model of peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and tolerance.
Al-Miftah told Bahrain News Agency (BNA), on the sidelines of his participation in the Rights of Religious Minorities in Muslim Countries Conference held in Marrakesh, Morocco, that the Bahraini delegation will introduce Bahrain’s experience in safeguarding the rights of religious minorities as guaranteed by the Bahraini Constitution.

He noted that the Muslim scholars should tackle in their religious discourses current challenges, expressing thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco for holding the important conference taking place at crucial and difficult times for Islamic societies.
