The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 football coaching staff says playing against the likes of Bahrain club Busaiteen, will give the Fijians more exposure.

Fiji meets Busaiteen in pool play at the inaugural President’s Cup, which starts in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday.

Fiji U20 coach Ravinesh Kumar says playing against teams from a different region to that from Oceania is a perfect preparation for the 2015 Under-20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, the Fijian team arrived into New Zealand this afternoon.

The side will be playing Amicale in its opening match at the President’s Cup on Monday at 7.30pm.

The second pool match is against Busaiteen of Bahrain next Friday at 7.30pm.

You can catch live commentaries of Fiji’s matches on Radio Fiji Two with the voice of soccer, Raymond Stoddart.
