Reviving Gulf tourism underlined

Manama, Jan 6 (BNA): Kuwait’s Minister of Information also Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah, has told Bahrain News Agency that declaring Manama, the Capital of Gulf Tourism 2016, is an important step in the promotion of tourism among the GCC countries.

He said the outstanding inauguration ceremony of Manama, the Capital of Gulf Tourism 2016, patronized by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accentuates Bahrain’s high reputation as an important cultural and tourist destination.

He highlighted the directives of the GCC leaders on reviving the tourism sector as a pillar of support crucial for the Gulf economy.

He expressed appreciation of the efforts and support of the Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister in making this event successful.
