SHC Chairman on official visit to the UAE

Abu Dhabi, Jan.5 (BNA): Supreme Health Council (SHC) Chairman Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa today started an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. He held a meeting with The Health Authority – Abu Dhabi (HAAD) Chairman Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al-Khaili and other senior officials on joint cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to develop medical legislations and services.

The SHC Chairman hailed the landmark health achievements and milestones in the UAE, led by President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. He outlined the National Health Insurance Project in Bahrain, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier for supporting the scheme. The delegation includes Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Aisha Mubarak Bu’unq, King Hamad University Hospital (KHUH) Commandant Major-General Dr. Shaikh Salman bin Ateyatalla Al-Khalifa and other officials
