Illegal fund-raising defendants sentenced to two years

Manama, Dec 21 (BNA): Advocate General Wael Bu-Allay stated that the Fourth Lower Criminal Court has sentenced three defendants to two years in jail. CBB Sukuk Al-Salam securities fully subscribed

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days, has been fully subscribed by 100%. The expected return on the issue, which begins on 23 December 2015 and matures on 23 March 2016, is 1.75% compared to 1.60% for the previous issue on 25 November 2015.
