Manama: Newspapers in Bahrain are grappling with one of the worst advertising slumps in their history and tough measures might be required unless the economy revives, a leading publisher has warned. Passengers were left terrified as a London-bound plane plummeted 32,000 feet in a matter of minutes after a technical problem. The Gulf Air flight was carrying 89 people when it was foreced to make an emergency descent.  Cabin crew launched an emergency operation and oxygen masks were deployed during the incident on board the Airbus A330-200 on Sunday.  The flight, from Bahrain to London, landed at Heathrow about 40 minutes after the incident.
