Terrorism: Putin and king of Bahrain meet in Sochi

(ANSAmed) – MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 8 – The situation in the Middle
East and north Africa “within the framework of the fight against
international terrorism” and economic and energy cooperation are
the main items on the agenda at the meeting between Russian
President, Vladimir Putin and the king of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa
Al Khalifa.
“Despite the quite tough economic situation – said Putin
shaking the hand of the king of Bahrain – we continue to
establish cooperation mechanisms to develop our relations”.

“Bahrain is one of our important partners in the Gulf and the
entire Middle East”, he added.

Foreign Affairs Minister, Sergei Lavrov and Energy Minister,
Aleksandr Novak take part to the meeting alongside president
Putin.(ANSAmed).
