According to the reporters, not less than twenty seven soldiers from United Arab Emirates and Bahrain had lost their lives on Friday while taking part in the military campaign which was led by Saudi Arabia against Yemen`s Houthi extremists group. Since the offensive started six months ago, this day appeared to be the bloodiest day for the Saudi led forces.

In order to restore the Yemen`s isolated government and repel the Houthis, who are aligned with Iran, Saudi Arabia and a coalition of other Sunni Muslim Persian Gulf states have been battling since March.

Last September, Yemen`s capital, Sanaa, was been seized by the Houthis.

According to state news agency of the United Arab Emirates said on Friday that, 22 Emirati soldiers were put to death in Yemen, whereas, Bahrain`s official news agency reported that only five soldiers have lost their lives while protecting the southern outskirts of neighboring Saudi Arabia.

As per Anwar Gargash, the Emirati minister of state for foreign affairs said on Twitter on Friday, Ä rocket and an explosion at a weapon cache has targeted the martyrs.”

According to Houthis they fired a rocket at a weapons cache in a camp used by gulf coalition forces in the central Marib area.
