Uplifting business environment competiveness discussed

Manama, Feb 3 (BNA): Industry, Trade and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani today received Economic Development Council CEO Khalid Al-Rumaihi.

The latest developments of the amendments to laws on economic affair and their impact on promoting Bahrain investment environment were discussed, in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Domestic Trade.

The new amendments aim to improve Bahrain business environment, support its competitiveness at the regional and international levels, as well as providing job opportunities for citizens. This will contribute to uplifting Bahrain’s standing, as a country of suitable business and trade environment, and boosting the sustainable economic growth.

A visual report illustrated means of escalating competitiveness in Bahrain investment environment, boosting the capacity of Bahraini economy to attract more investments and developing small and medium-sized businesses, as well as uplifting the effectiveness and productivity of enterprises.
