The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) has extended thanks to His Highness King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain for approving the National Plan to implement the National Strategy on the uplift of Bahraini women. 
The council praised the king  for his continuous support and directives to all the concerned sides to cooperate with the SCW .

Trasporti 22/02/2013 La compagnia Bahrain Air, creata nel 2008, ha annunciato lo stop definitivo dei suoi voli a partire di questo 13 febbraio. La sua decisione sarebbe dovuta a dei conflitti politici e alla mancanza di aiuti finanziari da parte del governo, è quanto dichiarato dalla stessa compagnia.
