Bomaanslag in Bahrein

Bij een moskee in Manamah, de hoofdstad van Bahrein, is woensdagavond een bom afgegaan. Bij de aanslag vielen geen slachtoffers. De bom ontplofte op de parkeerplaats van een moskee, vlak bij het koninklijk paleis.

Volgens de autoriteiten ging het om een ‘terroristische daad’.

Het is al 29 maanden onrustig in Bahrein, waar de sjiitische meerderheid zich onderdrukt voelt door de soennitische minderheid, waartoe ook de koninklijke familie behoort.

Bahrain’s Seef Properties reports USD8.8m profit in H1

You are assuming that all expats are driving cars. The problem with this argument is that the majority of 250,000 Asian expats working in the construction sector and many others do not drive in Bahrain, while most Bahraini families have one car or more.
