潘基文譴責巴林汽車炸彈襲擊事件

 新華社聯合國７月１８日電（記者王雷 裴蕾）聯合國秘書長潘基文１８日通過其發言人發表聲明，譴責１７日發生在巴林第二大城市裏法的汽車炸彈襲擊事件，呼籲巴林各方通過包容性對話緩解緊張局勢。 聲明說，潘基文對巴林近期暴力事件頻發表示關切。他呼籲巴林政府和民眾參與對話，以緩解緊張局勢，推動改革並促成和解。 據報道，巴林第二大城市裏法一座清真寺的停車場１７日發生汽車炸彈襲擊事件，但未造成人員傷亡。 ２０１１年２月以來，佔巴林人口多數的什葉派民眾開始舉行反政府示威活動，要求改革，實行首相選舉制度，以獲取更多政治權利。由於遜尼派的巴林王室一直未滿足反對派要求，什葉派青年幾乎每天舉行抗議示威，甚至從事破壞和暴力活動。（完） Read more [...]
