Mercedes heeft laten weten dat Nico Rosberg de 3 daagse test zal gaan vervullen voor het team uit Engeland. Rosberg is in Bahrein tot nu toe nog de enige actieve coureur die aanwezig zal zijn.Aankomende dinsdag zal de test van start gaan om de nieuwe banden te gaan testen voor het komende seizoen.
