Bahrain sport: Preparations stepped up for GCC Regatta
Bahrain has stepped up its preparations to host the eighth GCC Regatta from March 2 to 5 at Bahrain Sailing Club in Zallaq.
The annual competition will bring together some of the Gulf region’s best sailors who will vie for glory in their respective categories.

Bahraini shipping firm TCS adds Renault trucks to fleet
Bahrain’s Transcontinental Shipping Company (TCS) has added five new Renault trucks to its fleet in the kingdom. Yousif Al Rayes, CEO of TCS, said the purchase is part of the shipping firm’s development and expansion plans, according to the state-owned Bahrain News Agency. The company, established in Bahrain in 1996, recently opened a branch in Qatar, marking its first step towards a GCC-wide expansion. Crowds of visitors flocked to the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) booth at the recently-concluded 2016 Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) staged at Sakhir Airbase.
