Football team visit to Bahrain productive: Aqil Shah

  • Wednesday, November 18, 2015 – Peshawar—Former Sports Minister Syed Aqil Shah Tuesday said the visit of Malik Saad Sports Trust (MSST) Football team to Bahrain will impact positive over the overall performance of the players as far as international exposures is concerned.

    Addressing on the occasion of the playing kits distribution ceremony here at Trust premises, Syed Aqil Shah appreciated MSST for sending team to Bahrain for giving them international exposures.

    Syed Aqil Shah, who is also Vice President Pakistan Olympic Association, said it is difficult steps taken by MSST for sending team to foreign country. He also lauded the efforts being put in behind the whole exercise and said such efforts would be denied at any level. He said with sending of the team to Bahrain will further strengthen brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bahrain.

    He also advised the players to keep on good discipline in and out of the field because they are the ambassador of the country abroad. Aqil Shah expressed the hope that our players would learn good things from Bahrain players. He said that our football team visit to Bahrain will produce best results in the future which help them to become member of the Pakistan national football team.

    He gives words of advice to visiting team members said for hard work and try to win the friendly series with brotherly country Bahrain. He hoped that all the officials and members of the team will perform with the best of their capabilities and try to develop and strengthen brotherly relationship with Kingdom of Bahrain. He also said that we should give the peace message to all over the world from this series because we have faced terrorism in the Country and our province particularly. Team will leave for Bahrain on November 20 for seven days visit to play three matches series. Director Sports and Member Trustee MSST Tariq Mehmood, Secretary MSST Amjad Aziz Malik were also present on this occasion.

    Earlier, Syed Aqil Shah distributed track-suites and playing kit among the members of the Bahrain bound team. Team:
