Redwise delivers dredger to Bahrain
New Vessels – July 31, 2013
Among a number of ship delivery projects it has completed recently, Redwise Global Ship Delivery Crewing has delivered a dredger to Bahrain.
What Redwise described as “the well maintained and sturdy 1975-built dredger Sand Weaver” recently departed from the UK port of Swansea after several days of vessel and voyage preparations, involving flag change and associated surveys.
Bearing in mind vessel’s destination and chosen routing, the usual hardening and security arrangements were carried out (partly after clearing the Suez canal), resulting in a safe and secure passage through the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Gulf and associated part of Indian Ocean.
After 31 days of sailing time, Sand Weaver was safely handed over to Redwise’s principals at port of Bahrain.
