Youth minister honours Holy Quran contest winners

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowdar received the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation, who came first in single and teams’ categories in the 27th GCC Quran and Hadith Competition, which concluded lately in Qatar.


The minister honoured the delegation for their outstanding achievement and pointed out that this achievement is the result of the leadership’s keenness on supporting the Bahraini youth in recognition of the importance of Quran memorisation and recitation.

He highlighted the ministry’s keen interest in the active participation in the annual competition through the Bahraini youth contribution.

The delegation members expressed appreciation to the minister for his support and affirmed that their achievement affirms the Kingdom of Bahrain’s care for Quran memorisation.

They affirmed their keenness on participating in the coming competitions and achieve more.
